Stephen
Cook
Stephen Cook studied Fine Art and graduated from Goldsmiths' College in 1982.
His passion for horseracing led him to specialise in the genre and his much sought after oils and pastels can now be found in collections throughout Great Britain, Europe and the U.S.A.
Stephen finds inspiration in the colour, movement and atmosphere of the racing scene and he has established an enviable reputation as a leading artist in his field.
In addition to his work as a practising painter, Stephen runs a number of successful watercolour workshops from his studio in Essex and his paintings in this sensitive and fluid medium are now in great demand.
A working artist, Stephen Cook has exhibited widely and his paintings are in private and public collections in England, Europe and the United States .He is a member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and receives regular commissions for his racing studies.
Stephen is increasingly sought after as a teacher and runs a range of busy private classes as well as a popular monthly watercolour workshop.
He is based at Fairkytes Arts Centre in Hornchurch where he has his studio and he is represented by Brandler Galleries of Brentwood, Essex.
